Specialist Dermatologist
Dr Mi Vu
MBBS, BPharm, FACD
Dr Mi Vu is the principal dermatologist and founder of Yarraville Dermatology. With a strong background in both pharmacy and medicine, Dr Vu brings a detailed, scientific understanding of skin health combined with a deeply empathetic approach to care.
She completed her medical training at The University of Melbourne, receiving the Herman Lawrence Prize in Dermatology, and undertook specialist dermatology training at leading institutions including The Royal Melbourne Hospital, The Royal Children’s Hospital, and the Skin Health Institute. She was also awarded the Harvey Rotstein Award in recognition of her collegiality, integrity and dedication to patient care.
Dr Vu continues to work as a Consultant Dermatologist at The Royal Melbourne Hospital and Western Health's adult and paediatric dermatology clinics, where she is actively involved in training of dermatology registrars.. Her clinical interests include acne, rosacea, eczema, psoriasis, skin cancer detection, and paediatric dermatology. Patients know her for her calm nature, thorough care, and ability to explain complex conditions in a way that makes sense.
Dermatology Nurse Practitioner
Robyn Kennedy
MNursPrac, Postgrad Dip Midwifery, BNurs
Robyn Kennedy is a highly experienced nurse practitioner with more than 25 years of clinical expertise across dermatology, paediatrics, midwifery, and cosmetic medicine.
She is endorsed to diagnose skin conditions, prescribe medications, arrange diagnostic tests, and refer patients to medical specialists. Robyn currently works at The Royal Children’s Hospital and The Western Children’s Health Centre, and her presence at Yarraville Dermatology ensures patients can access timely, high-level dermatology care without the need for a referral.
Her key clinical interests include eczema, acne, molluscum contagiosum, warts, psoriasis, and hyperhidrosis. Robyn is known for her approachable, down-to-earth manner and ability to connect with patients of all ages, particularly children and families.

Judy Mai
BHSc Dermal Science
Judy is a qualified Dermal Clinician with a Bachelor of Dermal Science and a genuine passion for restoring and maintaining skin health. With a results-driven yet compassionate approach, she combines advanced treatment modalities with evidence-based skincare to help patients achieve lasting skin confidence.
She has a special interest in managing inflammatory skin conditions such as acne and rosacea, and offers a wide range of treatments including medical-grade laser therapies, chemical peels, and personalised skin programs. Judy believes education is key to long-term success and works closely with each patient to develop tailored plans aligned with their skin goals.
Known for her holistic, patient-centred care, Judy ensures every client feels informed and supported at every step of their skin journey. She is available on Wednesdays for skin consultations and a range of skin and laser treatments.
